Growing up, I always had a fascination with little trinkets and doo-dads, especially the mechanical ones! This cache is filled with mechanical toys, lots of fun for the kids (and adult-kids). If I learned anything from playing with wind-up and twisty toys, it's that anything that winds UP...must wind down...
So with that said, please wear hiking or closed-toed shoes while retrieving this cache! There are holes, briars, and loose dirt to face (In any combination) before making the find. And be careful coming back down.
Parking is available at Sandy Creek Nature Center. Start your journey on Cook's Trail and turn slightly onto Screech Owl Trail. There you can figure the rest out ;)
Visitor Center hours: Tuesday-Saturday from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Trails are open sunrise to sunset daily (Only trails needed for cache)
