Geocache Description:

A multicache hunt takes you on relatively easy trails in a beautiful district park. Some hills and stream valleys. Roundtrip about one mile.

For the nicest walk, park your car at N 38° 50.145 / W077°10.400. Restrooms and a snack bar (!) are available here (in season).

The first cache of this multicache is a two-cup Tupperware container. Inside the plastic container, you will find the coordinates of the second, larger cache—a clear plastic canister with a white top—located elsewhere in the park. Please don't leave anything in the small container. It's just there to give you the coordinates to the full-sized cache.

The original contents included the logbook and pen, a disposable camera, the South Carolina Governor's School Travel Bug, 2 wheresgeorge dollars, a monkey from The Monkey Cache, lightsticks, a Zippo lighter, a penlight, mini-knife, ARGOS patch, and other fun things for big kids (you know who you are!).

Both cache sites of this multicache are off-trail, but there is very little poison ivy or underbrush to deal with.

And bring the pooch! He/she/it will like the trails and the new leashless "dog park." Enjoy our neighborhood park!
