Geocache Description:


Kudat is a town in the state of Sabah, Malaysia. It is located 190 kilometres (120 mi) north of Kota Kinabalu, the state capital, and is near the northernmost point of Borneo. It is the largest town in the heartland of the Rungus people which is a sub-ethnic group of the majority Kadazan-Dusun race and is therefore a major centre of Rungus culture. The town of Kudat was officially founded on 7 December 1881. Kudat was a first capital city of North Borneo late 19th century before change to Jeselton city(kota kinabalu) in early 20th century. Kudat popular with seafood and beautiful beach present such as the famous beach, Tanjung Simpang Mengayau (Tip of Borneo). This is the first geocache hidden in kudat town especially traditional geocache. The cache is a bottle cap glued with magnet. White color bottle cap contain of tiny log paper. Hidden nearby the Kudat memorial tower. You can take a sit at nearby benches while watch the busyness of kudat traffic and the tower meanwhile learning about Malaysia's Agreement that craved on the tower's body. Bring your own pen tho.
