Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates!!!

2017 is a special year for Canadians as it is their 150th Anniversary of being a nation. On July 1, 1867, three provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Canada (now Ontario and Quebec) were formed as a dominion under the Constitution Act of 1867 (formerly known as the British North America Act). This resulted in establishing July 1st as a federal holiday to Canada, which at the time was called Dominion Day. In 1982, the holiday name was changed to Canada Day under the Canada Act. Today, Canada has over 45 National Parks, including Banff National Park, the third oldest national park in the world. There are currently over 230,000 caches all over Canada, with its oldest active cache, GCBBA, in Nova Scotia. Canada is known for its delicious doughnuts, having the most doughnut shops in the world, and maple syrup, with Quebec as the highest producer of maple syrup in the world.
