About Twickenham Station
The first version of Twickenham Station opened on the 22nd of August 1848. That station was built in a neo-gothic architectural style.
Almost a hundred years later, Southern Railway wanted to rebuild the station, but their works were interrupted by World War 2.
In March 1954, a three platform station came into use, like the one we can see now.
In February 1996, South West Trains operated its first service which ran from Twickenham to London Waterloo. This was the first scheduled privatised train to operate in 48 years.
This cache is rated 2.5 difficulty because it is a very muggle heavy area. Also, it might be quite hard to find…
This is my first geocache ever so… please tell me if I need any adjustments to the difficulty/terrain scale!
