Warning !!! You must approach this cache from the beach, in the summer when water is low by walking on the beach or year-round by boat.
Hayden Island is a beautiful spot. Recently, it's beauty has suffered due to abuse by visitors, both 'homeless' campers (who have better camping gear than I do) and the more affluent boat visitors. Please treat the area kindly and leave no trace but your signature and footprints. I sincerely hope that the Island recovers some with the decrease in visitors due to the fence.
