Lake Toyo-oka in the eastern part of Gamagori City had renewal construction in 1996. Lake Toyo-oka expanded Toyo-oka pond completed as an agricultural water in 1954 and is connected Toyo-gawa (Toyo river) and Tenryu river with Toyogawa water pipeline. Lake Toyo-oka park was opened in 2002, and there are a compound play equipment with a long slide, a lawn place, and an aquatic recreational amenity. The camphor tree is the official tree of Gamagori City, and is planted at the central of the park. Enjoy the view of Atsumi peninsula, Takeshima island, and Mikawa bay in the park.
