Geocache Description:

Getting to Peaks Island will be the most challenging part of this adventure. Take your own vessel or, like most, the ferry from Portland.  The Island is a 4 mile loop on the paved road, an easy walk, but this one if off the beaten path... It's often cooler and windier here.  Wear bugspray and check for ticks.  Please be respectful of private property and wildlife, ride safely and help keep the island clean. Peaks is an amazing adventure all its own - enjoy!

One of many Peaks Island Pirate Caches, this one takes you to another island...kind of...(at really high tide you just might get your toes wet!)  This spot is a favorite spot for parties and campfires and is known to most as "Picnic Point".  The extra tiny island is scraggly with bushes and small trees and a maze of tiny paths.  Shackled to a hidden tree, a pirate treasure awaits discovery! (Hide it back behind the tree!) Good luck, Matey! ~ Winter Pirate

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[Find the firepit and head back deeper into the island]
