Sambourne forms part of the ecclesiastical parish of Coughton, though it has been a separate civil parish at least since the 17th century.
Close to the village square there is a chapel-of-ease with a graveyard, built in 1892 and served by the vicar of Coughton. It is made of brick and red tiles with a small bell tower and a bow fronted apse containing three lancet windows
The Green Dragon Pub is very close by, to celebrate finding the cache afterwards.
