Another little bit of local history, a remnant of the mining history of bygone years.
Before you dare to enter into the abyss take some time to look at the ancient graffiti on the rock face in front of you. Tempus Exploroomais Negotium, `time solves all problems' and may have been carried out by some of the Jet miners of old.
Nice walk up the hill but maybe not so nice in bad weather. Superb views from the top in good visibility.

A nice easy section of the Cleveland way,flagged path to the top, steep section to the cache from there.
The cache, as its name suggests, is over the edge of the escarpment. Great care should be taken when decending to the cache.
