Geocache Description:

Petling container at an intersection of the rodeo and local gardeners. Beware of muggles.

Community Garden: A community garden is a single piece of land gardened collectively by a group of people. Community gardens utilize either individual or shared plots on private or public land while producing fruit, vegetables, and/or plants that are grown for attractive appearances. People in Magnolia, TX have came together in 2000 to found the Helping Hands Community Garden on land next to the Magnolia Community Center. Fruits, vegetables and flowers are among the things being grown. A sandbox awaits children to play as well. Donations accepted! Rodeo: The Magnolia Community Horse Club is a not-for-profit organization formed as a means to promote equine education and good fellowship in the best interest of agriculture and horses among youth in our area. It is through various horse shows, barrel races and play day activities that we are able to provide scholarships from the Don Greene Memorial Scholarship Fund to local college bound high school seniors. The Magnolia Horse Arena is a local arena where people can compete and practice riding horses for different rodeo events. Barrel racing is common. There are stands where onlookers can watch and a small concession stand. Come on a Saturday afternoon to watch the fun.
