Geocache Description:

This cache is one of a 4 cache series of Letterbox caches.  Each cache is named after one of the 4 Cardinal Directions of the compass.  This site is the South Cardinal. The others are of course the North, West, and East Cardinals.

Being a Letterbox Cache there is a unique rubber stamp included in the cache so you can make a print in your own personal Geocaching log book.  You will need to bring your own ink pad though.  I did not provide one due to concerns over drying out or freezing.  If you bring your own then hopefully that won't be an issue.

Now here's the thing with this series.  The stamp at each of the four caches has 1/4 of the total image for the series.  To collect the full stamped image you need to visit each of the 4 caches and stamp your log book using the cardinal directions.  North to the top.  South to the bottom,  East to the right. And West to the left.

The final image can be seen in the picture I've put in the photo gallery if you are curious.

I've placed all 4 stamps within an easy hike from Stonewall.  You could get all 4 in a day if you rode a bike.  So try using Stonewall as a base if you are looking for some exercise.  But if driving is your plan, then you will be happy to know that they are all Park and Grabs.

Enjoy.
