In the life of Bulgarian people bells have a special place, for example with their help the church measures the time for prayer and believing you are urged to participate in the liturgy. Im Leben der Bulgaren haben Glocken einen besonderen Platz. Die Kirche z.B. misst mit ihrer Hilfe die Zeit für das Gebet und glaubt, dass die Menschen dazu aufgefordert werden, an der Liturgie teilzunehmen. In früheren Zeiten war das Gießen der Glocke ein besonders wichtiges Ereignis, an dem die ganze Gemeinde beteiligt war.
