Being a relatively newbie to caching, I have had to rely on the wisdom and guidance of my husband mc3cats. When we go to cache sites (I guess you all call them GZ which saying it squeezes my heart as I think of 9/11 and won't use that term) mc3cats usually tells me there are often very suspect places a cache would PROBABLY be ("inside the box"). He often says that guardrail caches are usually "like this" or caches in trees or the woods are often "like this". I hear about and see all the same kind of places most people hide caches. Even though I have not found that many caches (much to the criticism of some cachers) I delight in hiding my caches "outside the box". Many a cacher has emailed me saying my "First Cache" or my "Spring Cache" or even my "Just for You Cache" is missing. It sends me into peals of laughter knowing they are tucked into their special places and just a quick drive by and peak tells me this is true. Mc3cats often says "your caches are evil" Mamacats, and yes, yes they are. We all need to stretch our minds and think outside the box.
