Geocache Description:

If you like camping or fishing? This is the cache for you. Located at the south end of Eagle Lake just North/west of the town of Susanville, CA.

Hidden in a cylindrical clear plastic jar about 6 inches in diameter and about 9 inches tall. Also wrapped in a clear plastic ziploc bag. You can get to the cache site from 2 different directions. But the best way is to park at the Marina near Gallatin Beach. Just a short walk from the marina.

The cache site is along a nice walking/bike trail. And if you have the time, the sunset over the lake is worth staying for.(The average size trout that I caught this trip was 2 lbs each. Ranging from 1 lb to 5 lbs)

WARNING! The cache site will probably only be reachable from May-November due to weather conditions.
