This is a small 15-cache trail - most are new, but a few have been "repurposed" for this trail (thank you LisaandDarin) This is our very first effort, so be kind in your reviews.
The county seat is Berkeley Springs, which boasts a warm spring that maintains a year-round temperature of 74 degrees. The "run," as residents call it, is a great place to bring your family for a refreshing (free!) soak, or to just dangle your feet and relax. While you're there, you can get a selfie in front of "George Washington's Bathtub!"
Most of the caches in this trail are 1/1's to 2/2's. A few have been adjusted upwards due to Terrain (but still easy to find!) The idea is to make it easy for brand new geocachers to find at least most of them.) There are 12 caches titled "MoCoExpo Trail." The other 3 that have clues are GC1YGFV 9 (Rt 9 / James Rumsey and Sir John's Run), GC1M5MD (Berkeley's Castle) and GC3K1MZ (BSA - Scout Troop #81 (MOCOEXPO)) Each cache contains a "clue." Write the clue on the Passport you can find at the Morgan County Extension Office or Chamber office (right next door to Extension), the Morgan County Public Library, and at some of the shops in town. When you find a minimum of 10 of the caches, bring the passport back to the Chamber office for a souvenir of your visit to Morgan County. NOTE THAT some of the lines on the passport don't actually match the clues, but that's okay, they know the right answers.
Now, for the cache
You will find this cache HIGHLY entertaining. Though it's not hard to reach if you're of average height, you'll have to do some "climbing" to get to where it's located. In the near vicinity, you will find a place to keep you smiling, one that dispenses remedies, one to keep you healthy, and if you travel around the corner, you'll find a place to stretch your muscles, and one that will keep you in "high spirits." The cache can be found above all of this. You don't actually have to do any physical climbing. If you look carefully, you will find that a path nearby will take you almost to GZ. Once you've reached your destination, it will become fairly obvious where your target is located. Very little stealth is required here, but there is some construction going on just down the way, so you may see an ocassional vehicle. This area is super kid-safe, but you may need to do a tick-check before getting back into your vehicle. Please be gentle when handling the cache, and be careful to put things back where they belong.
