Cache is a 300ml Rubbermaid container. Cache is accesible, by foot, 3 hours either side of low tide. A short climb is required to access GZ. GPS reception is poor at GZ as it is near a rock face.
The cache is hidden just down the slope from the Tryphena Point Beacon. The light from the marine beacon is clearly visible across Shoal Bay at night. You could say that it is beckoning you to visit Aotea Island. Do climb up to the beacon and enjoy the views across Shoal Bay.
