Cache is located at the resettled community at Freshwater. Old house foundations are still visible & a waterfall follows along diagonal slabs of granite to the sea below.
Cache is located on the Spout Path section of the East Coast Trail. Access to trailhead is at the end of North Shore Road in Bay Bulls. It's about a 1-1/2 hr hike to the cache. Spectacular scenery, whales, gannets will make this a perfect day hike.
