PLEASE DO NOT mess with the sprinkler head!!!!!
We are placing this cache for TWO special reasons:
ONE, this open space area is where gampa&gamma found their first cache eight years ago (2009). The Witz-ing Hour (Re-Haunted) GCQV9G was our very first find, and eventually where we launched our first travel bug one year later. This WitzAbout cache had to be archived in January 2016 as it and it’s hidey-hole went missing when the City of Colorado Springs began work on the new John Venezia Community Park. Now that the park is complete and open, we wanted to place another cache in our family series.
TWO, Henley is our youngest grandson who loves to go geocaching. He has been caching since he was an infant and has cached in 16 countries, on three continents, and in 19 of the United States.
Because we have enjoyed so many fun caching days with Henley here in Colorado Springs, we wanted to place another cache in his honor here. This is number four in a series of caches. One, three and five in the series are in Arizona, placed by his parents. Number two in the series is nearby in Briargate. Be watching………some day there may be a cache named, “I’m Henley the Eighth, I Am” in some far away location!
