commute over 2 hours each way over summers and on weekends for the privilege of teaching teachers. I make the travels much more pleasant by kayaking and geocaching along the way. I've found most of the latter, and wanted to contribute some myself.
In 2011 I was unable to teach the teachers because of Hurricane Irene - this road was impassable for months. Prior to that, there were houses here. They've recently put in this parking spot and trees as well as commemorative sign (see pic).
The "I" can be for Irene, or for Irate as I've been that in this vicinity once upon a time during my commute ...
