We've tried other geocaches at this site, but none of them really stuck, the muggle traffic was just too high. So let's try this one then. Cache is a micro with just enough room for a logbook, so BYOP. The cache's sucess hinges on it being replaced correctly. Thanks so much for finding!
Schmidt Lake
The cache is located near the public boat launch into Schmidt Lake. According to the DNR, the lake covers 42 acres, and reaches a maximum depth of 27 feet. The lake is home to Sunfish, Crappie, Bass, and a few Pike. Schmidt Lake is relatively quiet compared to the nearby, and very popular, Medicine Lake, but still receives some local traffic from the homes that line its shores. The public boat launch is very popular with fisherman, many of whom simply fish from shore.
