geohatter: Hi

As the publishing of caches has now commenced in England the UK Reviewers have decided it is time to commence the background work of dealing with caches that have been disabled for two months or more or are in need of maintenance.

We appreciate that some cachers are still "shielding" due to COVID-19 or do not feel safe to go out and are unable to maintain their caches at the moment. If this is the case can you add a note to the cache page indicating you intend to maintain your cache at a later date. We do not require you to give specific reasons why you cannot maintain your cache at this present time.

This cache appears to have not been found for some time. Would the owner please check this cache and see if it still in place or give an indication of when it may be sorted out. Otherwise it should be archived. If there is no response to this log after 30 days I will archive the cache. In the meantime I am disabling it.

Guidelines:

  • You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to ensure it is in proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.), or posts a Needs Maintenance log. Temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have addressed the problem. You are permitted a reasonable amount of time – generally up to 4 weeks – in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing.

Could the cache owner please place a note on the cache page so that other cachers and I can see what your intentions are.

Please DO NOT send an email about this cache in case I don't receive it. Posting a note will ensure your cache does not get archived in error.

Regards

Paul

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Number 920 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.

The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

Easy mag nano cache in Ombersley town centre. Stealth will be required. Sadly I don't have a photo of this pair so if you have time take a picture of them and include it in your log!

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum but is now managed by mattd2k

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that you first visit www.afinepair.co.uk to request a number to avoid any duplication

mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series. Once your cache is published please contact him via geocachingafinepair@gmail.com to have yours added
