Myself (KAB) and my SO (DRW) have created a trail along this lovely lane and bridlepath that runs between Barkby and Queniborough.
You won't need to go far into any of the fields to find our caches. They are hidden close to the Lane itself, but when you get onto the bridlepath through the woods... well they could be anywhere! Keep a look out on your GPS or App for all of our caches. You will soon discover our calling card. We also put lots of swappables in, please replace with something of equal or greater value if you take one. I know I probably don't need to say that though!! Lots of the swappables are geokiddie friendly too, and the path is trail itself could make for a fun geofamily outing!
Barkby Holt Lane is a beautiful country lane, with lots of public footpaths through the fields, and the lane becomes a public bridlepath towards the end. Our trail runs down the lane and the bridlepath. If you go in wet weather, be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes / boots / wellies!
You may also find some red herrings along the way...purple ones!
