Geocache Description:

A Cache hidden in a popular Southern Humboldt County Park. Be aware that there are fees for camping and extended day use. We encourage you to enjoy the many features of this park, but this Cache can also be treated as a Park and Grab.

This cache is in the middle of AW Way Humboldt County Park. Aramiss’ family has been camping here every year since 2000, and she and Porthos still join them each summer. Aramiss’ father is a true Master Plumber whose experience has rounded out Porthos’ knowledge of the trade. When Porthos spied this particular hidey-hole with the company van in the background there could be no other Cache Name! It is in “Papa’s” honor we place this container, which we created on the spot from spare parts from the work van.

The cache is located in a central, communal area of the park. No need to wander into camps! Depending on the season you may have a 360-degree ring of muggles, but campers frequently wander around near the GZ searching for elusive Cell Service, so you won't look quite as suspicious as you may feel - at least until you go arm-deep for the final grab!
Please try to replace  cache lid-down both for stability and for better water resistance.

Container is narrow but small swag (even smaller geocoins or a TB) can fit. Recommend sliding log, pen, and any other long objects in first, then adding other smaller swag.

Cell service is basically nonexistent, so a true GPSr is recommended. It's also quite possible to determine the general location beforehand. I believe most cachers and any child will gravitate toward the hide once within 50 ft!
