The Bibbulmun Track is an amazing gift to the hiking world. Covering some 1,000km from Perth to Albany in Western Australia.
This cache is close to Mt Wells Hut.
"On the summit of Mt Wells, The old firewatcher's hut provides views from its fire tower. The hut itself, which is a replica of the original that was destroyed in bush fires of 1961, has been converted to a Bibbulmun Track shelter. Here, walkers can experience something of bygone times, when the firewatchers would spend months living in the hut, keeping a look out for bushfires."
The coordinates for this cache were generated using "Waypoint Averaging" on an eTrex 30 GPSr so should be quite good.
