Hay muchos desafíos populares y aún más menos populares o hasta exóticos, e incluso si no está prestando demasiada atención a sus estadísticas, los números están ahí y con el tiempo ciertos logros del geocaching como su siguiente hito, rachas, un nuevo souvenir o badge o simplemente aquel día perfecto en que encuentra algunos de esos caches realmente especiales (comoquiera que los definió) se destaca y le hace feliz si no orgulloso.
Puesto que amamos el geocaching diverso, incluyendo la mayoría de sus aspectos, decidimos plantearles un primer desafío sobre los diferentes tipos. Sin duda alguna el juego no solo se trata de encontrar caches tradicionales, la categoría que dio inicio al geocaching en mayo de 2000 y todavía la gran mayoría de todos los caches escondidos. Dentro de pocos meses, varios tipos de caches distintos habían aparecido, incluyendo multis, misterios y caches virtuales. A finales de 2001 se habían establecido oficialmente las categorías (véase la discusión del foro original), incluyendo también los caches de evento, letterbox y webcam. Otros tipos - como CITOs y Mega-eventos, earth caches o Wherigos - nacieron más adelante; algunos de ellos - como los dos restantes APE caches, el cache del HQ o los Giga-eventos - bastante escasos, mientras otros (Locationless caches y eventos Lost&Found) incluso tenían una vida corta, pues ya no se admiten. Actualmente hay más de 15 tipos diferentes disponibles y si no lo ha hecho antes, debe por lo menos tratar de encontrar algunos de ellos para obtener más variedad en el geocaching.

There are many popular and yet more less popular or even exotic challenges and even if you are not paying too much attention to your statistics, the numbers are there and over time certain geocaching accomplishments like your next milestone, streaks, a new souvenir or badge or simply that perfect day out finding a few of those really special caches (however you defined those) will stand out and will make you happy if not proud.
Since we love diverse geocaching, embracing most of its aspects, we decided to pose our first challenge about different cache types. Surely enough geocaching is not just about finding traditional caches, the category which started the entire game in May 2000 and still the big majority of all hides. Within a few months, several different cache types had appeared, including multi, puzzle and virtual caches. By the end of 2001 further types like events, letterbox hybrids and webcams were included and categories had been officially established (see the original forum discussion). Other types - like CITO and Mega events, earth caches or Wherigos - came into existence later. Some of them - like the two remaining APE caches, the HQ cache or Giga events - are pretty rare, whereas others (Locationless caches and Lost&Found events) had only a short lifespan, being no longer supported. Currently there are more than 15 distinct types available and if you haven't done so already you should at least try to find a few of them for more geocaching variety.

With your finds build yourself a 6-floor (square) pyramid using distinct cache types for each level, i.e. find 1 cache of some type, 4 caches of another type, 9 caches of yet another (third) type and so on until 36 caches of the sixth type.
Below is a checker which can be used to see whether or not you already qualify for this challenge. Include the output from this checker in your log as documentation. Logs will be deleted if the requirements are not met.

MiSiYa has found 1 Mega (or Wherigo), 4 webcams (or LabCaches or CITOs), 9 events (>20), 16 letterboxes, 25 virtuals (>30), 36 tradis (>850), 49 earths (>50), 64 multis (>100) and 81 mysteries (>700).
Aclaración: Todos sus HALLAZGOS ANTERIORES que figuran en geocaching.com CUENTAN sujeto a las siguientes reglas:
- Sólo se aceptan hallazgos de caches firmando físicamente la bitácora, asistiendo personalmente a un evento o CITO o visitando en persona el sitio de un earth, virtual o webcam cache (prueba de foto).
- Hallazgos en caches permanentes que usted publicó o es dueño NO cuentan, con excepción de eventos y CITOs a los que asistió.
- El hallazgo de este cache desafío NO cuenta como uno de los caches de tipo puzzle si decide usar esta categoría en su pirámide de 6 pisos.

- Finds are only accepted by physically signing the logbook, personally attending an event or CITO or by actually visiting the site of an earth, virtual or webcam cache (photo proof).
- Finds on permanent caches you published or own yourself do NOT count, with the exception of events and CITOs that you attended.
- Finding this challenge cache does NOT already count as one of the puzzle caches you might use in your 6-floor pyramid.
- "Found it" logs without proper proof of completion of the challenge will be deleted.
