Irene Rinehart park has several miles of river front trail, a dog park, a beach area, covered picnic tables, grills, frisbee golf and ... GEOCACHES. I'm trying to put enough caches out in this area to make a fun adventure for kids (and grownups) to explore the trails and other park amenities.
Sniff around carefully. Make sure you don't go barking up the wrong tree! There are plenty of muggles around, so keep your enthusiasm on a short leash: don't attract their attention by giving a loud howl of victory when you find the cache. Conceal it carefully when you are done.
Sadly, many dog owners aren't very good at cleaning up after their pets. Watch your step!
