UPDATE: Based on the various DNFs and comments about the PI, I have revised the hint and the difficult rating/attributes. Checked on this yesterday and it is still as we placed it. Congrats to those with keen eyes and to DeGusmao for the FTF!
We actually devised this one to mimic one a nearby GC we had a very hard time with until we gave it a really close look. This one was meant to be tricky and take some looking but you do NOT need to dig through PI to find it. It is very close to a defined path to the pond's edge. Just needs a keen eye. Apologies to those who were frustrated by it. Not moving it for now but will keep checking on it as the landscape changes. Good luck!
And P.S. - yes, my son (JackAttackGeocacher) and his geo-pup Simba are avid nature explorers and hikers so we are not as sensitive to PI as some.
Another beautiful walking and scenic view location. This park is where we often take walks. There is a short trail along onseide of the pond which JackAttackGeocacher and I enjoy walking. There is also a playground next to the parking area and many people fish in the pond. This park is busy so it will require stealth and this particular cache is what we believe to be one our trickiest yet. We spotted a frog and a nutria (like a beaver) while placing this one. Log only. Bring a pen/pencil.
