Arakawa Oaso parks are a riverbed in the Arakawa middle-class left bank and the prefectural park in Kumagaya-shi. The about half feels the "forest of" a wild bird where even a prefecture is an introduction place by the eminent wild bird and "square of" wild grass where the flowering plant peculiar to dry riverbed blooms are about 170 ha wider at the park whole field. "Forest of a wild bird" then, it's possible to observe more than 100 kinds of wild bird through the year. "Square of wild grass" then, it's possible to observe the rare plant peculiar to dry riverbed from spring to autumn, and even Arakawa basin is a park with the most abundant nature.

荒川大麻生公園は荒川中流左岸の河川敷、熊谷市にある県営公園です。公園全域で約170ha、その約半分は県内でも有数の野鳥の渡来地となっている「野鳥の森」や河原特有の草花が咲き誇る「野草の広場」が広がっています。「野鳥の森」では年間を通じて100種類以上の野鳥を観察することができます。また、「野草の広場」では春から秋にかけて河原特有の希少な植物を観察することができ、荒川流域でも最も豊かな自然のある公園となっています。
