This is a small 15-cache trail - most are new, but a few have been "repurposed" for this trail (thank you LisaandDarin) This is our very first effort, so be kind in your reviews.
The county seat is Berkeley Springs, which boasts a warm spring that maintains a year-round temperature of 74 degrees. The "run," as residents call it, is a great place to bring your family for a refreshing (free!) soak, or to just dangle your feet and relax. While you're there, you can get a selfie in front of "George Washington's Bathtub!"
Most of the caches in this group are 1/1's to 2/2's. A few have been adjusted upwards due to Terrain (but still easy to find!) The idea is to make it easy for brand new geocachers to find at least most of them.) .
Now for the cache
The place where you will find this cache is a local icon. It has been in business at this same location since 1951, making it a good landmark when giving directions. It’s unusual in that it can be found on both sides of the street. Your job is to figure out which side your prize is found on! That shouldn’t be too hard. The name of the cache is a (sort of) clue. This easy cache is very kid-friendly, (they will probably enjoy the hunt!) and muggle traffic as a rule should be minimal, even if the nearby establishment is open. As always, even though GZ is relatively away from the road, keep an eye on little ones. During the summer months, you may encounter some itchy plants very near GZ, so use caution. And PLEASE place the cache back EXACTLY where you found it. Thanks, and Happy Caching!
