Frank Sinatra:

Francis Albert Sinatra was born in Hoboken, New Jersey. He began his musical career in the swing era with bandleaders such as Harry James and Tommy Dorsey. He found success as a solo artist after he signed with Columbia Records in 1943. While Frank Sinatra never had formal musical training, he had an impressive understanding of it, and he worked very hard from a young age to improve his abilities in all aspects of music.Sinatra was a perfectionist and he always insisted on working with a live band.

His bright blue eyes earned him the popular nickname “Ol Blue Eyes”. Others called him, “The Voice”, or “the Chairman of the Board”.

Sinatra died in 1998, but he remains an iconic figure.
