Old School - sayin's Traditional Cache

Second in the "sayin's" series. There are phrases often used that make perfect sense – if you know the meaning – but if you don't, might make you scratch your head.

I'm not originally from here (neither the pennyrile region nor Kentucky.) Some sayin's I hear and understand. Some...well, I'm learning.

Old School

adjective -typical of an earlier style or form based on a way of doing things that was common in the past

Often used in reference to music, clothing, or language, this term could be used for anything. Most often it is used with high regard or respect. However, these descriptive words have probably the broadest use. Tell me, what's “old school” to you?
