Recently, my youngest daughter began competitive gymnastics. Growing up I learned the rules of many sports including baseball, football, and basketball. At not time did it dawn on me to learn the rules of gymnastics. Even from an early age I enjoyed watching the sport (I may or may not have had a crush on Domonique Moceanu when I was a teen ager during the 1996 olympics). Now that I am invested in the sport I have learned some of the rules and this makes viewing the events even more enjoyable.
