kb10bo: This used to be a relatively quiet intersection, but it isn't anymore!!!! It's at the point where it isn't safe to cross the road to get to GZ, so I've decided to archive it. [:(]

My container is gone, but I'll try to get out there to retrieve the other one in the next couple of weeks.

Geocache Description:

The cache that was at this monument is one of the first ones that I found back in 2008.  That cache was archived a while back, so I wanted to put another one here to share this piece of local history with cachers passing through the area. 

This cache is at a busy intersection, so please be careful as you search for it.  The interesection has been reworked, so it's actually easier to cross the road to get to it than it was when the other cache was here. 

Please park at the suggested parking coordinates, NOT along the road.  From there you can walk on the sidewalk and have access to crosswalks.  There's even a button to push at every corner to get the traffic light to change for you.
