During the summer of 2017 members of the Opportunity Kicks Soccer Club from Rock Island attended a geography-themed summer camp where they learned about geocaching. The culminating activity was to launch their own geocache. Sadly, their first attempt was stolen! This is their second try--hopefully we learned the lessons from the first time!
This geocache is best located from inside Lincoln Park. There are a couple of ways to get into the park, depending on which direction you are coming from. There are a couple of parking lots on the south side of the park, but you should be able to park on the road that runs through the park for the quickest access to the cache. While you are in the park check out some of the cool features such as the amphitheater and playgrounds .
