Kätkö sijaitsee Rovanperällä Pääkkölän talon pihalla. Kätköllä pääset näkemään Lapin sodalta 1944-45 säilyneitä asuinrakennuksia ja perinteistä pihapiiriä. Pihapiirin vanhin rakennus, Joentalo, on tuotu Muoniojokivarresta. Rakennukset muodostavat Kolarin kotiseutumuseon, joka on auki kesäisin. Silloin pääset näkemään, millaista esineistöä Kolarin kodeissa oli, miten asuttiin ja kuulet tarinoita kylän asukkaista. Pihapiirin takana on 300 metrin mittainen muinaismuistopolku.
The cache is situated at Rovanperä, Pääkkölä farm house. The oldest building, Joentalo, was brought from the area of Muonioriver. You`ll get to see old historical buildings and ancient livingareas of Kolari that were saved from the War of Lapland 1944-45. Nowadays the area is the official Local Museum of Kolari, open during the summertime. Then you`ll get to see how people used to live and hear the stories of the local families. Behind the yard there is a 300 meter long ancient trail.
