We stopped here for a cuppa on the way home from the Sounds. Would be a good place to stretch your legs or to let the dog out for a run. Some big snapper have been caught in Mahau Sound in years gone by, I remember hand lining a whopper into a dingy. There are a few prickles near GZ so just be a wee bit careful.
