Geocache Description:

Replacement for the original Kimberley Nosey Parker cache.

When I was growing up in Malpas, there were two parks within reach of where we lived. There was Grove Park, which was all grottoes and flower beds, and Kimberley Park which was a flat open space marked out for football pitches and other such activities. Grove Park already has its cache ("Grove Nosey Parker"), and now Kimberley Park is getting one, too. Over the years Grove Park has been decimated by development, and while Kimberley Park retains most of its original land, it has been downgraded from a Park to a Recreational Area.

There is free parking at the given parking co-ordinates during opening hours. The main park gates are locked at dusk, but the park can always be accessed on foot. When the parking area is closed you can park on Blaen-y-Pant Crescent if you can find space.
