Wallace Marine Park Walk #3 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

subwaymark: I have decided to archive this series to open up the park, plus the caches seem to disappear often. I may re-establish them later if nobody else does.

Geocache Description:

A cache to explore Wallace Marine Park. I would not recommend looking for this at night.

This is the third in a series of caches to explore this park. Paul Wallace and his son Robert donated 24 acres to the city of Salem in the 1950's for use as a public recreation area. The city has since developed this into a great park with a boat launch, baseball fields and walking trails. With the Union Street Railroad Bridge walking path, it is connected to downtown Salem and Riverfront Park, which is now connected to Minto Brown Park. This not far from the baseball fields which can get rather busy at times. You are looking for a preform bottle tube.
