Geocache Description:

Presque Isle Park on beautiful Lake Superior is the location for this caching event. Join us on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 1-6 pm for all new permanent caches, some good conversation, and a pot luck. The format will be basically the same as previous years.  We'll probaby have the usual burgers, brats, & hot dogs again.

The coordinates will take you to a shelter at Presque Isle Park near Moosewood Nature Center. The shelter has electricity.

Please bring a dish to pass, some lawn chairs, picnic games, etc. We will provide venison barbeque (for a change) which we'll have ready around 4 pm ish. Group picture at approximately 4:30 pm.

2277 plans to archive all the caches at Presque Isle. Approximately 20 new caches will be published Friday morning. A huge THANK YOU to Lou for doing that! You all know how fun, creative, and sneaky 2277 can be.

Bring some bugs (no ticks please!) and stories to swap.

Unfortunately, dogs are only allowed inside closed cars.

We will have a prize table. Door prizes will be drawn after the group picture. If you have something you'd like to add to the goodies, feel free to drop them off at the time you check in. Park in the Moosewood Nature Center parking lot (the lot closest to the coordinates) if there's enough room, otherwise near the ice cream stand. Moosewood will be open and is free.

In case you don't get the chance, we should have the ability to upload the new caches to your GPSr so bring your download cable.
