This cache is aptly named Wireless Ridge, due to the nature of finding the cache co-ordinates and it's final location. The name itself is famous due to The Battle of Wireless Ridge, which was an engagement of the Falklands War which took place on the night from 13 June to 14 June 1982, between the British 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (2 Para) and Argentine forces (7th Infantry Regiment) during the advance towards the Argentine-occupied capital of the Falkland Islands, Port Stanley.
