Geocache Description:

Another cache in the Robins Camp area of the Hwange National Park on a regular wildlife viewing route, and at a place where you are allowed out of your vehicle. Park fees are payable.

The water levels at Little Toms have been much improved since a solar pump was installed in 2016.  Around that time a new thatch roof was also put on to the Little Toms Hide.  Sadly the roof didn't even last a year, with it having burnt down in a fire earlier this year (2017).  The solid stone walls of the hide were still in intact at the time we placed this cache, and we suspect that another new roof will be installed again sometime soon.  So we had to think carefully about where to hide our cache so as not to be found by mistake when the roofers arrive.  Hopefully we have succeeded - the cache being a well hidden small micro tube with a wire handle for extraction and to return it to its hiding place.
