We hid this geocache to launch our Park Ranger TB. The geocache is a relatively easy hide between Cape Spear and Maddox Cove on the East Coast Trail. At the posted coordinates the Cape Spear Lighthouses are visible, and in the summer whales may be seen here too.
To access the geocache, park at the Cape Spear parking lot and hike along the East Coast Trail towards Maddox Cove. The geocache is located only a few steps off of the main trail and is easily accessible in the summer. It is perfect for families, newer geocachers, or anyone visiting Cape Spear. The hide is fairly easy and contains the usual trinkets and log book. When we hid this geocache we were lucky to see many whales, and the view itself is stunning.
