1:30pm to 2:30pm
As soon as I saw this location, I knew two things:
- It needed a cache. That was taken care of quickly.
- It needed a CITO very badly.
On 21 MAY 2016, the first CITO took place here. The crew cleaned out bags and bags of bottles and other items that had collected below the falls.
So, from 1:30pm to 2:30pm, I am going to be at the listed coordinates with trash bags available. I hope to get a few of you out to join me in cleaning up the area. The area is in the shade of the trees and cooled by the tumbling waters.
** A couple things to keep in mind.
- This area does have some higher level terrain and can be tough to navigate.
- The area is also growing up with briers and the like. Long pants and full cover shoes/boots highly recomended.
- We will attempt to clean both sides of the creek, if you have rubber boots, bring them along.
