WELCOME to the Lightning Tree!!!
Lightning Tree is a very cool part of the green belt. It probably was hit by lightning during a storm and split in two. It has many good places to hide caches too in high and low parts of the tree. The cache is a pill bottle but its camouflaged. Not just by its color but its surroundings too. So keep your eyes pealed. The journey from Mountain Lodge road will take a little hike so wear close toe shows and good hiking gear. Cactus,and other plants could hurt so be careful. You might see a deer or two during late afternoon or morning time. Watch out for snakes in high grass! ENJOY!!
