This Geocache is among many being hidden for Discover L&A Mega Event taking place on August 19th, 2017.
All DLA2017 Geocaches will be published on August 15th, 2017 to allow time for non-locals to build PQ's and routes.
DLA2017 participants are encouraged to wait till 9am on the day of the event to start finding them.

This area is used as the 'take out' for canoeists and kayakers that have paddled the river south from gull creek.
The salmon river is a popular white water river north of here as it tumbles down off the shield (in the spring floods) . With Class 2 and 3 rapids for the adventurous among you 
please respect the parking rules....Short term parking only
if you wish to swim and frolic in the rapids, park elsewhere.
