Good trail all the way. Cache altitude was 6108. Remember to tread lightly!
The cache is in a small wooden box. 5 1/2" long, 2 1/4" wide and 3" high. Its in a clear plastic baggie. So bring small items if you plan on trading.

A very nice hike along the Pacific Crest Trail. The hike is about 2.7 miles to cache site. Several snow covered mountains can be seen from here,(Adams, Rainier and St Helens on a clear day) as well as the summit of Chinook Pass. Continue up the trail to Sourdough Gap and look across to Crystal Mountain. So pack a lunch and plenty of water and explore the beauty of the Cascade crest. And remember, have fun and tread lightly.
