It is recomended that you park at the Courtyard Car Park to complete this series of caches, as it is a central parking location.
The cache is a black magnetic micro. BYOP (Bring Your Own Pen) and please be mindful of muggles and please replace the cache to the location where you found it.
I created this series of caches to help the geocaching community of Letterkenny to grow and to introduce other geocachers to the history of Letterkenny. It is a great town and I hope these caches help people enjoy all of the different things it has to offer.
Congratulations to AerobaticAndy for the First To Find!
Information for the Letterkenny Heritage #5 cache:
Go to the stone plaque that is dedicated to those who died at the workhouse during the time of the famine. If the area to the plaque is not available, there is a photo of the plaque on this page. Take the first letter of the 16th word on the stone plaque and translate this letter into the number it is in the English alphabet. For example, if the letter was a n, its number would be 14.
This number will then be put into the Letterkenny Heritage #5 cache's correct coordinates in slot A.

Text on the stone:
In memory of those laid to rest here who died in Letterkenny Workhouse during the Famine years. May they rest in peace.
