Geocache Description:

This area of town is called Lower Main Street. Up the road from this location is the Old Dunnes market and close by is the Letterkenny Library which used to the Literary Insittute set up by Lord O'Hagan in 1877. It was used as an institute for learning until 1906. The library opened up in 1995.

It is recomended that you park at the Courtyard Car Park to complete this series of caches, as it is a central parking location.

The cache is a black magnetic micro. BYOP (Bring Your Own Pen) and please be mindful of muggles and please replace the cache to the location where you found it.

I created this series of caches to help the geocaching community of Letterkenny to grow and to introduce other geocachers to the history of Letterkenny. It is a great town and I hope these caches help people enjoy all of the different things it has to offer.

Take the last number of the date listed on the wall and put this number into the Letterkenny Heritage #5 cache's correct coordinates in slot B. The date on the wall used to be painted with a different color than it is now. The answer is 2.
