This geocache is placed along a road allowance and offers a first-hand view of Bruce Weirs, a water control designed to slow erosion and reduce flooding. A fence is located just behind the cache and encloses the weirs.
Turn east at Five Corners, a unique intersection where grid roads are disected by the Escarpment Road which follows the Manitoba escarpment North and South. If you've selected the right turn you will spot signs marking Bruce Weirs, a flooding and erosion control project initiated by landowners, the Pembina Valley Conservation District and other organizations.
